Recently, our company has officially launched the Smart Water Affairs Digital Twin Platform. The platform builds a 1:1 real-scene 3D digital twin scenario, covering water plant process facilities, distribution and transmission water pipelines, and supporting buildings. It integrates six core modules: water affairs overview, water plant scheduling, pipeline leakage, sewage treatment, water quality monitoring, and intelligent operation and maintenance. It breaks down data barriers and achieves real-time synchronization and integrated remote control between physical water affairs facilities and virtual models.
The water affairs overview module integrates all-territory operation data such as water pressure, flow rate, water quality, and equipment operation conditions, and visually presents the entire water production process. It relies on AI algorithms to output scheduling and energy-saving optimization plans. The water plant scheduling module connects to the SCADA system, real-time senses equipment abnormalities, supports remote control of pump groups, valves, and drug dosage, and realizes automated intelligent scheduling.
Based on GIS technology, the pipeline leakage module enables precise management of DMA zones, automatically identifies pipe burst risks, locates leakage points, and calculates pressure drop and production-sales difference. The sewage treatment module continuously monitors the sewage disposal process, energy consumption, and effluent indicators, ensuring stable and compliant discharge. Water quality monitoring covers raw water, process nodes, and pipeline ends, monitoring indicators around the clock and predicting water quality risks. The intelligent operation and maintenance module builds a full life cycle management system for equipment, automatically generates maintenance work orders, and coordinates equipment, spare parts, and personnel management.
The platform integrates the entire business chain of water intake, water production, water transmission, sewage treatment, and operation and maintenance, eliminating system data silos and achieving visible, manageable, and controllable water affairs operations. By empowering production with data, it helps water affairs enterprises save energy, reduce consumption, improve quality, and increase efficiency, promoting the traditional water affairs industry to upgrade to a smart and digital model.
